I've been performing for 29 years and teaching for over 10 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep love and understanding of the instrument and its capacity. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to play simple songs and as time goes on you'll be able to integrate technique and your creativity in your playing and singing. I specialize in classical, jazz and pop/rock have the following tools available at my home studio for your lessons: I have a wonderful Korg SV1 Vintage Piano, I have mics, cables, a mixer and amps. I have music stands and music books. I have play a longs and speakers for play a longs. I have an acoustic Cordoba C5 Guitar, a Silverstone and an electric Fender Squier. I have a set of Tabla. My classes include: warm-up, learning songs that excite you and develop your skills, music games, summer recital where you perform what you have learned throughout the year and meet the community of my other students to help you motivate you on your path to learning music I will help you to build your repertoire and have confidence! I teach all styles: classical, jazz, pop, rock, r&b, musical theater... If you are a jazz fan, we'll work on scat - vocal improvisation, jazz standards, blues and swing feeling and more! Singer - Songwriter? I teach song writing and composition and can give you great feedback for your own creative path! Further if interested in expanding knowledge, I teach Ear training, sight reading & music theory All ages & All levels welcome / Kids and Adult Beginners or Advanced I teach at my home studio in Prospect Park, i travel to my students houses and i also teach online classes. I have Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz and 13 years of Classical Background - Anton Bruckner Music University (Austria), 29 years of world-wide performing experience and 10 years of teaching experience. Next to teaching Piano (beginners to intermediate level ) and Voice (beginners to advanced level), I teach Jazz Improvisation, Classical Vocal Technique, Song Writing, Writing Lyrics, Composition Techniques, Arrangement, Music Theory, Music History and Tabla (beginners level) .
