Kylee O.

I am the conductor of the Bloomington Chamber Singers. Kylee performed with my orchestras for a number of years while she lived in Bloomington and also played a number of times during worship services at the church where I direct the music program. Kylee is first and foremost, a masterful technical musician who understands her instrument deeply, and is keenly aware of style and the challenges of ensemble playing. She also is a warm, creative, and caring individual respected by all around her. I recommend her highly and know that anyone who studies with her will discover new talents within themselves.

Kylee has been coming to our adult day program since she first came to Bloomington to attend the Jacobs School of Music. Throughout her graduate work she was a regular visitor to our small program. Not only did she perform beautifully, but she engaged with us....teaching us about flute playing, various aspects of the instruments she plays, background on types of music, and she built relationships with us. We were happy to celebrate with her when she got her new absolutely gorgeous flute! She is warm, has great communication skills, invites questions and learning. She was FAR more than a performer here, she was invested in us and we were happy to adopt her during her time in Bloomington. Kylee's demeanor, musical excellence and personality make her an excellent fit for lessons or events. We HIGHLY recommend working with her!

Kylie is a wonderful flutist, musician and ensemble member. She played substitute flutist in the Terre Haute Symphony for three years and we were always pleased when she came. Her wound is gorgeous. Her intonation is excellent and she matches vibrato to the section very well. In short, she is sensitive. Kylie is much closer to her flute performance education than the other members of the THSO fluters but she was respectful of our experience and treated us with deference. She just sat down and played. Personally, she has a beautiful smile and direct eye contact. She engages well. I would be pleased to be in the same room with Kylie for instruction and i am certain that many flute students would feel the same way. Austin just received a treasure. JW

I worked with Kylee for 3 years while I was the Music Director at a church in Bloomington, IN. She was often a guest musician during our church services, and I worked with Kylee to coordinate special music pieces and rehearsals with the church choir. Kylee was always enthusiastic, professional, and was a wonderful musician to collaborate with. I can't recommend her more highly!

Kylee, played her flute for out residents at Bliss Place. And their reaction was priceless. Kylee played her flute flawlessly and her attitude was without flaw.

Kylee is a fantastic flutist. I am the Assistant Director of Community Engagement at Classical Music Indy, a non-profit organization in Indiana, and I hired her for many gigs in Indianapolis. I kept hiring Kylee for our gigs because she was always prepared and on-time. She plays at a very high level and I will miss working with her.

I had 3 lessons with Kylee. I started myself 6 weeks ago before I had some one who would help me to play again when my newer flute. I played in school then I had other things to do with a husband & children. I came back to start again with a new flute. The sound was sweeter since I had a nickles flute but new I was able to buy a silver one. Even though I had to pay a little more with my money it's worth it. Since I had to find another teacher because Kylee moved to study for her Master Degree I looked for another teach. The new one is helping with my studies.
