As the lead voice teacher and one of a growing number of piano instructors at TSM, I taught students ages 6 & up (including some adult students!) how to sing and/or play the piano. I specialized in both classical and popular music - the majority of my piano students focused on classical music while the majority of my voice students focused on popular music. A few highlights of the past year: - Successfully teaching a studio of 20-30 voice, piano and/or dual voice-piano students weekly, providing custom-tailored instruction, weekly feedback, detailed biannual progress reports and annual performance evaluations. - Designing and teaching a 16-week music theory course, involving instruction in the fundamentals of music notation and tonal harmony; - Preparing a number of students each semester for performance, providing practice tips, performance coaching and piano accompaniment. - Excelling in student acquisition (converting 31 trial lessons to enrollment) and student retention (retaining most students at least 6 months)
