Language with Kyle M.

I am a highly motivated ESL teacher looking to continue my career here in Oregon. I have over 8 years experience teaching English as a second language (one & a half of those years being overseas), a Bachelor's Degree in communication, two TESOL certifications, and a deep love for helping others. I've spent time learning Chinese, German, Spanish, and Thai so I have some insight on the difficulties of learning another language. I understand the complexities of how English works, and I try to break it down to understandable steps, without losing the overall feel and meaning. I want my students to be able to think in English, understanding that it allows for a lot of flexibility and fun. I want them to learn not only rules and vocabulary, but how to communicate to those around them, wherever life might take them. The end goal is communication and understanding.
