Japanese with Kyle H.

Hi, I am an undergrad studying Horticulture at OSU, I enjoy gardening and working together with people and plants. I am a baking enthusiast, I love all forms of food, and I live to play soccer. My parent's took me to Japan for 3 years as a child to expose me to different cultures and people, which I've taken to heart in believing that however different our upbringing or backgrounds are, we are just people. People who just want to communicate their thoughts, emotions, and observations with others, and I want to help contribute to spreading communication as much as I can. I have worked as a TA and tutor at OSU for students studying Japanese, and I have helped many Japanese exchange students understand English grammar and how they can relate(make connections with) their native language to English. I will structure lessons that are practical for you to learning English or Japanese that relate to your interests and profession. My intentions are for you to become more comfortable speaking in your second language, to develop conversation skills that you can use, and to take enjoyment from using a non-native language. I am an easygoing, reliable, patient guy. I understand we all start at different levels of fluency and will work with you every step of the way, in other words, fluency is repetition.
