As the music tutor, I had one on one session with my students and taught them what they wanted to learn. Lessons ranged from guitar to voice and performance practice to ear training to classical and jazz theory and finally to songwriting composition and arranging as well as lyric writing. 

As the math tutor, I helped students through levels of math ranging from elementary to calculus. I usually used Khan Academy in conjunction with the lesson in question.

I have been learning how to sing ever since I was young. As for teaching it, I have only been doing it since 2012, but I have grown to understand the in and outs of singing, including body placement and ear training, melody and harmony and how all of it interconnects. My goals are to teach the student in question what they are willing to learn and I am the type of teacher who is open to all matters of approaches to help the student learn the desired lesson. However, I am not a classical teacher.

Hi there, my name is Kyle H. I graduated from the Vocal Jazz Department at Massachusetts, Amherst last spring and now I am the music director and arranger of a Northampton A Cappella group called the Green Street Brew. While I have a deep musical background that ranges from composition and arranging to ear training and music performance, I also have good knowledge of mathematics and creative writing.
