Two things are required for a world-class musician: foremost, a unbridled passion for your art or craft; and secondly, a willingness to grow continuously. Without a doubt, Kyle has both and will share them with you. Over the last decade, Kyle has proven himself by pouring thousands of hours into his craft and growing himself in just about every style of drumming you can name - from jazz, to rock, and playing in groups as varied as nightlife cover bands to some of the best drumlines in the world, to name a few. Let him share what he’s learned with you, with the same passion and commitment to growth. Working with Kyle may be for you if: - You are excited about the possibility of playing drums like a rockstar, but don’t know where to start - You have taken music lessons in the past, but didn't feel like you were progressing quickly enough - You are looking to get fired up about playing what is truly the best instrument out there - the DRUMS Kyle will take the musician and drummer you are now and turn you into a rock-solid player, with the confidence and ability to adapt to any musical context, and have fun while you’re doing it. For these reasons, I highly recommend Kyle!

I've had the pleasure of learning from Kyle as the Drum Captain of the Penn State University Marching Band. As well as leading the entire drum line he also directly instructed the tenor section. Kyle consistently pushed the team to excel during every practice and taught us to strive for excellence. Kyle was able to specifically help each of the members of the team when there was a problem with the show to ensure that we were performing to our highest potential. Aside from having a fantastic experience throughout my college experience I learned a lot about musicality and performance integrity through Kyle's instruction.

I highly recommend Kyle as a percussion instructor. He is not only equipped with a vast set of skills from marching percussion, hand drumming, to drum set, he has an unmatched passion for music in general which shows in his teaching. I was taught by him in college and really learned a lot from him. He showed a strong commitment to developing my skills and has a really laid back and friendly teaching style. His percussion resume is impressive having been involved in a variety of percussion ensembles. Whether you are just picking up sticks for the first time, or looking to learn a particular skill set, Kyle would definitely be able to lead the way. Also recommend trying to see him perform with one of his bands!!
