I have a Masters Degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and am finishing a PhD from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I teach Old Testament and Biblical Hebrew at the Blue Ridge Institute. I've been teaching Biblical Hebrew for several years, including to my nine year old daughter. I've been studying Biblical Hebrew for 15 years and try to read my Hebrew Bible every day.

I serve as an occasional professor of Old Testament at Santiago Theological Seminary in Santiago, Dominican Republic. I have taught Intro to Old Testament and am preparing an intensive Hebrew/Greek course and a course on preaching from the Prophets.

In 2017, I, along with several other professors, local pastors, and churchmen, helped establish the Blue Ridge Institute for Theological Education where I am a professor of Old Testament. I have taught Hebrew, Pentateuch, Poets, and will be teaching Hebrew Exegesis in the fall and Prophets in the Spring.
