I am a young musician from Denver who was classically trained by world musician Greg Garrison. I have held many positions in many ensembles including but not limited to: Principal Bassist for the Colorado Youth Symphony Orchestra, Bassist for the Colorado- State Jazz Band, Bassist in the Western States Honor Orchestra. More recent accomplishments include my admittance to the Oak Park River Forest Symphony Orchestra, and acceptance to the Music Conservatory of Chicago with scholarship. My love for music is unmatched and there is nothing I love more than seeing a student succeed in music. I love all people and thoroughly enjoy teaching children! *** Lesson Details *** I am quite a laid back instructor but I carry initiative to accomplish the goals set. Once the student has been assessed we move from where there abilities are set in a custom curriculum for each student. We move with the pace of the student and their learning ability! I teach with classical techniques but also include modern techniques such as technology. *** Studio Equipment *** I will have: all supplies (bass, stand, music, etc) Student should have: their own bass *** Travel Equipment *** When traveling to: I will have: Computer, music, recording gear. Student should have: Bass, stand (optional) *** Specialties *** Any and all, however I tend to specialize in jazz and classical.
