Myself

I worked with several students in math mathematics ranging from 4th grade math to Calculus B/C. Two of my students went from not being able to complete assignments and hating math to being able to pass their Algebra II classes without any help from me at all. Another student went from struggling with a D to passing her Calculus II class with a B+ and the AP exam.

Boy's and Girl's Club of Greater Green Bay

I helped students in grades 6 to 8 learn various subjects from English to Science to Spanish to Geography. My main task was to help with all levels of math, from learning multiplication to mastering Algebra I. Many of the students were English as a second language, so I did some teaching in Spanish, but most was in English.

St. Norbert College Multicultural Student Services

I helped my peers in college learn math from Algebra I to Calculus II and Statistics. I worked in an open room for a few hours a week and students were allowed to come in and ask questions in a wide variety of subjects. I answered several hundred questions over the year, with many of them from the hardest parts of calculus and statistics.

Boy's and Girl's Club of Greater La Crosse

I developed programs to help children from ages 5 to 18 grow and develop as well-rounded individuals. I spent the most time working with younger children to help with homework and teach them manners and how to play well with others.

The organization is run on a daily basis by 18 professional staff at the headquarters office in Colorado Springs, CO. We work with volunteers all across the country to create opportunities and advance the sport.
