I have an Associate degree in Arts with an emphasis on music from Seattle Central Community College. Guitar and Composition were my focuses. I've been teaching for 3 years but I've been playing for 12 years. I write, record and perform my own music regularly. I've released 3 albums of my own music and I've recorded records for many bands. I play many different genres of music with a focus on folk, bluegrass and rock. I encourage my students to be creative with the tools that I teach, writing original material and applying techniques to strengthen the learning process. At the end of the day its all about having fun playing music!
