Drums with Kristyn B.

I have been playing drums since I was about ten years old and grew up taking lessons. In high school I played in the jazz ensemble, swing band, concert band, and pop ensemble. I then played in my college's jazz band and received my associates degree in music. I am formally trained in drum set and piano but I love to play guitar and bass also! There is so much I have learned from my formal education in music but I also think it is important to recognize how much music can teach us about life. I have gotten to meet so many amazing people and have performed at some awesome places here in Nashville such as the Ryman Auditorium and the Wildhorse Saloon. All of my experiences with music have been invaluable and humbling. I think that a teacher is successful when they have helped a student progress not only as a musician, but as a human being too.
