High School Math Teacher

I am a certified high school math teacher and have been teaching in a public high school since 2004. I was the 2015 Teacher of the Year and am part of our county’s mentor program that supports and assists new teachers. Originally hired to teach struggling math students who tested 2-4 years behind their peers, I have since received my gifted certification and am an experienced AP Calculus AB/BC teacher. I have taught regular- and honors-level pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, algebra 3, advanced algebra/trigonometry, precalculus, regular and AP calculus, IB Math Studies,  IB Maths SL and history of mathematics, all at the high school level.

I am an experienced high-school math teacher who has been working in the classroom of a local public high school since 2004. I have experience teaching high school students a variety of subjects ranging from remedial pre-algebra to AP Calculus AB/BC and IB Math Studies/Math SL. Awarded Teacher of the Year in 2015, I bring a love of math and a desire to help students, especially those who may find math scary or confusing.
