I am a professional teacher with experience in working online (4 years) and offline (2 years), in a classroom. I am a holder of a Master's degree in the English language and have attended numerous seminars dedicated to teaching and using new technologies in teaching. I've always thought I would only teach English, but a year ago I started working with Americans who want to learn Serbian and Croatian - and this became my new passion. You will be using only the best course books and teaching materials. I love Serbian/Croatian proverbs and stories - they are a part of my lessons because learning a language isn't only about learning grammar rules, but also about understanding the culture and history of the people. My students can expect to improve all of their skills - speaking, listening, reading, writing, and can rely on my help with tracking their mistakes, correcting in a positive and friendly manner and explaining why some mistakes are made and how to overcome difficulties. My main goal is to make every student feel comfortable and relaxed because most language learners experience difficulties communicating due to feeling insecure and/or embarrassed when using a new language. Once we stop this, effective learning takes place! I'm looking forward to meeting you and helping you become a confident speaker of Serbian or Croatian!
