Teaching Style:

In my lessons I emphasize both technical skill and musical creativity. I use the Russian Method to instill my students with good technique and tone and I make sure that my students are confident on their scales and etudes. I try to chose pieces for my students that encourage artistic expression and I aim to help my students develop their own musical creativity.

Musical Experience:

I have completed my Bachelors degree in Music Education at Georgia State University. I teach and perform on the violin, viola, and cello. I was a principal in the Gwinnett County Youth Symphony Orchestra, assistant principal in the Kendall Youth Symphony Orchestra, and an assistant principal in the Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra.

We love Kristin. My 8 year old daughter is taking drawing lessons with Kristin. She is fabulous with kids. My daughter enjoys the class so much. I recommend her highly.
