    I am a classically trained violist and string instrument enthusiast, born and raised in the Chicagoland area. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelors in viola performance and I obtained my California single subject music teaching credential from California State University, East Bay in 2021. I have previously worked in local public schools as orchestra and band director and have taught music lessons both privately and in group settings for the majority of my career.

    Kristin is great! My 5 year old had never done music before. She enjoyed her first lesson and Kristin was really great with her. My 5 year old can be high energy and wanted to jump ahead to using the bow but Kristin was patient and knew how to ease her in. We will be continuing lessons with Kristin.
