Kristina is a classically trained pianist from Russia who has been teaching young children to adults since 2014.  She started playing piano at the tender age of seven,  and went on to graduate from the Michaylovsk School of Music with a Diploma in Piano Performance.  In addition to her studies abroad, she also studied piano performance at Florida International University in Miami.  She is both fluent in Russian and in English. 
 
Kristina comes to us as an experienced and knowledgeable teacher, who brings a depth of skills to those who are eager to expand their musical talents.  She believes in an approach that gives students positive reinforcement in a constructive manner, that creates an open space to learn and advance.  She designs the lessons according to the students’ needs, with an emphasis on creating a solid foundation.  Within her lessons, she implements the elements of Music Theory, Sight-Singing and Sight-Reading.
