I am a professional art teacher, currently working on my 7th year of teaching. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art and Education. I am currently teaching in a public elementary school, but have also taught high school art and Pre-K through 8th grade at a private school. I have taught private lessons, group lessons, and painting parties for people of all ages! I have taught several students with high functioning autism and other special needs. I believe that art is a subject where anyone can be successful when given the tools and techniques. My main goal with any student I teach is for that student to enjoy their artistic experience and become the very best artist they can be! No two artists are the same, and I encourage my students to embrace their unique and individual talents.
