My dharma (life's work) is in service. I have done this so many different ways through the years. From obtaining a Masters Degree in Social Work (and working in that field for a while) and serving on many community boards to endlessly serving my five children. I was a mother with a career, like so many others, when I discovered that I was having twins that had congenital heart defects. Needless to say my life shifted and my service had to look different. It is one of my greatest joys to lead classes and both see and hear the impact that they have on students. From middle school age to senior's I still channel everything I do in service. I have also had my share of "hard" in life and it is a personal goal of mine to inject joy into the "hard" parts of yoga. One of my favorite class saying's is "just smile and try it." Yoga is intended to be lived, not necessarily just practiced on a mat, in a studio, and it is something I work on every day!

Krista is a very patient instructor with our senior class and has offered many options for those of us with physical and mental restrictions. I’ve been taking her classes since 2017 and they have helped my balance and flexibility and strength as well as Incorporating a sense of self approval achieving poses as best as I can. She is most encouraging and makes the classes fun & interactive. I look forward to inperson classes, but have also found the online classes (especially during the pandemic) to be great for continuity of my yoga practice.
I have taken a variety of yoga classes over the years and Krista is by far - the best yoga teacher I have ever had. She is kind and joyful and makes the class fun. I have most recently been in her chair yoga class and it has helped me tremendously. I feel so much better and am more flexible than I have been in many years. I HIGHLY recommend her for any class she offers! You will not be disappointed.
