Hi I'm Krissen,
I am a professional singer, pianist and educator. I am a graduate from Florida International University with a Bachelors of Arts in Music, Primary Instrument: Jazz Voice. In the university I studied jazz and classical voice and I continue to perform all styles of music as well as teach all different styles of music. I teach voice and/or piano lessons of all different ages and experience level.
Voice students can expect to improve quickly with their vocal technique. Every voice has a unique tone color which I teach students to release tension and apply fundamental techniques in order to release their own individual sound. I can help any student to sing their favorite song with the confidence and freedom that they have within themselves.
I teach piano students of all different ages and experience levels. I studied classical piano as well as jazz piano for several years. I can teach students to read music, apply piano techniques, and pursue musical excellence. l will help you learn piano/keyboard in a style that caters to your musical interest and unleashes your creativity. Whether you are a novice or expert, I have a lesson suited for you. Since all our lessons are one on one, progress is catered to you, allowing for maximum attention and progress.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a well-rounded musician!
