I believe in the power of passion. I started teaching by "accident" about ten years ago when I started to tutor a friend. And then it was two friends. And then it was half of an English class. I became a private tutor in English, reading comprehension, literature, and composition. In the last ten years, I've taught children, teenagers, and adults everything from English curriculums to survival skills to study and organization skills to yoga and meditation. The one thing every student has shown me is that if they like something, if they are passionate about something, they are more likely to excel. Passion has power. Maybe you're not passionate about English or literature or composition or reading comprehension. That's fair enough and not a problem. As a teacher, I set out to bring your passions are into whatever we're working on. During our lessons, my passion is your passion. Before our first session, we'll talk about your goals. What are you trying to achieve? Then we'll talk about the things that make your eyes light up, that make your speech speed up because you're so excited about it. After that, you leave it me to mix it all together. Each lesson, we'll make progress on your goals and have a good time while doing it. I'm excited to teach you through your passions.
