Drums with Koosha H.

Koosha is a San Diego based drummer/composer that has been gigging and teaching in San Diego and Orange County area for the past five years. Started as early as when he was six years old on the piano and picked up playing the drums in middle school. He recently graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Drums Performance. Koosha has studied under professional musicians such as Jason Harnell (Maynard Ferguson), Kei Akagi ( Miles Davis), and Darek Oles (Brad Mehldau) to name a few. He is very versatile in playing a lot of different styles such as Jazz, Rock, Metal, Latin, Country, Funk etc. and has a clear vision on how to help the students to become great musicians. He currently holds a bi monthly jazz jam session at Aztec Brewery in Vista and plays with his local band called The Dapper Bandits.
