I am very passionate about teaching, and I am confident that I can make a positive impact. I am an Algebra 1 EOC Intervention Specialist. I teach Algebra and an Algebra (EOC) end of course Intervention class. I was acknowledged for having obtained the highest percentage of students to have passed the STARR Algebra 1 (required state exam) for five consecutive years.  I possess previous and current teaching experience at both middle, and high school grade levels, 7-12. I also tutor Collegiate students that take college algebra courses. I am an extrovert. I love working with people. My people skills is the reason I'm successful at my current position. I'm a patient listener and clear communicator. I would help you develop critical thinking skills and get you involved in your own learning. I would reduce your anxiety of being in a math class and ease your nerves during exams. I would help strengthen your ability to learn math (and other things) on your own as well as build the your confidence with math and other seemingly difficult subjects. Also assist you in increasing exam performance and retention of material learned. I would provide you with a deeper understanding of the material. It is my job to equip you with the tools you will need in order to be a successful Algebra math student. All I ask from you is to stay focused by having a positive attitude, a willingness to work, study, and learn so that we may achieve “POSITIVE RESULTS”. In addition, my desire as an educator is to help you meet your fullest potential. I am giving you the tools to become successful in life, to believe and love yourself. I participate in professional development workshops, team building and constantly striving to be the “BEST” educator by being a Life-Long Learner so I can help you have a better chance at being successful during your math career.
