Hi There, potential student, and or parent, I am a professional jazz violinist with many years of teaching and playing experience. I have a California Teaching Certificate, and taught elementary music in public schools for 30 years. I have taught violin to all levels of students for even longer. I currently am active as a jazz violinist, and would be most interested to teach intermediate and advanced students who are interested in improvisation and ‘alternate styles’ of playing (jazz, swing, rock, country and bluegrass). However I have a great deal of experience teaching beginners and have a deep background in classical technique to insure you or your child as beginners are able to evolve towards any style they find compelling
