My name is Kismat, 29, currently back in Minneapolis after living in LA for a year. I’m a full time musician touring the world playing rock, reggae, jazz music etc. I also teach at Guitar Center Maple Grove currently.
I’m a professional musician with over 10 years of international touring experience with venues ranging from pubs to stadiums.
I have been playing drums for the past 21 years! I studied jazz drumming at the Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory and later taught at the very place for 4 years before moving to the US. Although I majored in jazz I have been traveling the world playing Rock, Reggae, Metal music with my bands and different individual artists.
Suffice to say I can cater to your drumming needs be it jamming out to your fav metal bands or learning jazz licks off of charts. I also studied basic Classical/Jazz Piano and Guitars!

Taking lessons with Kismat was both fun and educational, as it should be. I was introduced to a variety of different music theory concepts at a pace which suited me. It was never too difficult nor too easy. Of course your progress will be dictated by how much you practice, but Kismat's lessons will give you a clear path to follow. Over all I had a lot of fun learning from him, he's a great teacher and fun guy to jam with.

Our son Joe has taken lessons with Kismat for about the last year. They have been the most productive lessons of our sons guitar playing!
