Discover your love of music - a gift you will have all your life

Experienced musician of 25 years of performance. Available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a love for music! My goal is to make sure my lessons are a fun and encouraging learning environment. I like to blend a variety of learning materials to build a strong foundation of musical skills. I like to have students work through larger pieces of music, with a mix of genres, that fit their level of mastery to facilitate their musical development and growth.

About Kirsty C.

4.9
(42)
As a graduate of Immaculata University, I have a Bachelor's in Music Education and Music Therapy with a concentration in Flute Performance. I enjoy being a very active member of the Music Ministry group at my church. I am a flutist and vocalist for weddings and church services. For the past 15 years, my passion has been giving flute lessons to beginner and intermediate students. But having a well rounded experience in elementary music education, I have also come to love giving ukulele, piano and voice lessons to enthusiastic students in my home studio! I am also a substitute teacher in the NP school district. In addition, I teach and volunteer with my church's Youth Religious program. I am a mom to six wonderful children of my own. I feel truly fortunate to share in my students musical growth and development ~ have found great enjoyment in fostering their love and appreciation for music! Looking forward to getting you started on your musical journey!
