    About Kirstie G.

I'm a board-certified music therapist with experience teaching children and adults in 1:1 and group settings. I'm especially passionate about working with students with disabilities, and making adaptations as necessary in order to help them succeed. I have taught piano, guitar, bass, drums, and recorder in addition to conducting choir, handchimes, and mixed-instrument ensembles. I also facilitate music therapy sessions and teach broader classes such as music appreciation, songwriting & composition, music & relaxation, music & movement, creative writing, and knitting. I believe in making music education accessible for all students who wish to learn.
