I graduated magna cum laude from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts, as well as receiving my Teaching English as a Second Language Certification. My major was Language Studies with a focus on Spanish and Teaching English as a Second Language. During my time at university I discovered my interest in TESL after volunteering with my university's Linking Language Learners program for two years. A program where native speakers help international students improve their conversational English. Along with teaching over the years, I also volunteer tutored at the Greenville Literacy Association - an ESL program - beginning the fall of 2015 through the Fall of 2018. The main focuses of my teaching has been on English, ESL, and Spanish. I hope to help people improve their English skills and help grow their confidence in speaking a foreign language. All my lessons are tailored to fit each student - this includes personalized notes and worksheets.
