When I was in school, I always struggled in math. It wasn't until I went to college that I had a teacher that taught me in a way that I understood. It was then that I decided to be a math teacher. I wanted to help students to NOT struggle and to show that anyone can learn math. I have spent my career coming up with interesting methods and lessons to teach concepts in an easy way that builds full understanding. I believe in a holistic approach to teaching math. If you don't have the solid foundation of how math works, then it will always be a struggle to learn new concepts. I guarantee I can teach anyone math!
