    About Kimberly S.

    Kimberly is a 30 year veteran in the Film and Television Industry. She entered the business as a Casting Director and is a proud member of the Casting Society of America. In addition to Casting she is a Director, Producer and Writer in short, A STORY TELLER! She is currently in preproduction for The Reteat, her Feature Film Directorial Debut, as well as the Christmas in New England Trilogy, and Spitfire. Additionally she completed Directing Ward 8 and The Domesticators "Proof of Concept" shorts for series in development. Series in development include Free State of Yell, Big Moves, Now Leasing, Pottery, and Wayward Girls. Casting collaborations include: NETFLIX series House of Cards , STARZ series The Girlfriend Experience, Unsolved Mysteries; Deep Impact; Beloved; The Pelican Brief; True Lies; numerous Independent Feature Length and Short Films. Selected Commercials and Government Projects include include Enfamil, McCormick, Washington Post, UMD-UC, Bud Light, FBI and DNI. Kimberly is currently Producing and Casting feature films; Metronome, What We Leave Behind, The Hive and One Lucky Moon, a Musical Comedy by Director/Writer Peter Bogdanovich (The Last Picture Show, Whats Up Doc & Paper Moon) in collaboration with music of Willie Nelson. Her 29 year passion and dedication to the art of non traditional casting has earned her a stellar reputation in the industry. Her acting and directing studies became skills to enhance her ability to communicate the specific language used between actors and directors that create exceptional performances to showcase the talents of actors she auditions as well as the Actors and other creatives she now directs. Kimberly frequently lectures, nationally and Internationally about The Casting Process, Independent Film Production and the Collaboration of Writers, Directors and Casting Directors. Additionally she has moderated Panels on Viewing Cinema, Crowd Funding, The State of Women in the Industry and Female Representation among Cinema Critics.
