I have been fortunate enough to be able to make a living doing what I love. My mother taught me to sew when I was a teenager, and I've loved and grown the skill ever since. I have been creating and sewing purses, laptop bags, accessories, and many home decor items for the past 18 years, and nothing is more fulfilling than seeing an idea come to life with a needle and thread. I am a freelance sewist, and have taken on all kinds of jobs, from sewing pillows, to re- upholstering a client's sun room. My own personal style is a bit edgy, bold, and colorful. I am happy to guide you in color and fabric choices that will compliment your taste and style. I can work at whatever pace is comfortable for you, as well as help you develop a sewing practice that keeps you motivated to sew! I am highly skilled, extremely patient, and am ready and willing to take on any project you can think of!
