In my lessons I really listen to my students especially when it comes to the type of music  that they want to learn.   Many times they will bring ideas to me that they have heard or seen.  I do insist on reading and using the music as a tool to improve on sight reading, rhythm and other basic studies of music. I try to make it enjoyable and fun and not a stressful experience.

I began my love for the piano and music at age 9.  It has been a huge part of my life ever since.  I have a BA in Music Performance and have been teaching and performing for many years and love it!  

I teach students of all ages and levels which I thoroughly enjoy.  I am open to all genres of music and really listen to my students preferences when it comes to the music they want to work on.  I do believe in the basics yet applying it to all types of music.

I am also a singer and songwriter and teach voice as well as writing music. I am planning on continuing my teaching and performing for many years to come!

Ms. Kimberly has been amazing! We are 6 months in on virtual piano sessions and are very impressed!
