Playing the piano is something you can enjoy your entire life! Experienced teacher of 20 years will encourage student growth through individualized lesson plans based on student's goals and desires. Focus on note reading, good rhythm, playing with feeling and fun! All beginner-intermediate students of any age are welcome. I have a Bachelor's degree in Church Music. So, in addition to other genres, I can teach hymn playing and how to read/play from a chord chart or lead sheet so you can play keyboard at your church. About Kim W.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Church Music from Southwest Baptist University with an emphasis in piano. I was classically trained for 15 years. I have been a church pianist for 43 years. I have been teaching piano for 28 years.
I love teaching all ages of beginner to early advanced students. I teach mostly classical music, popular music, hymn playing, and reading a chord chart so you can play contemporary music. I also cover music theory and technique, which are both foundational for all musicians.
