I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of music theory and composition skills and techniques. I specialize in musical theater and songwriting with a full score and also have the following tools available to use during lessons: piano, guitar and computer with compositional software. I have also learned Caribbean musical arrangement, and can help with adding specific rhythms and horn sections.

Hello! My name is Kim and I'm a professional musician and model here in Los Angeles. I've been playing music and learning musical theory since I was 5 years old, and I really love sharing my passion with other people! In the past, I have tutored all kinds of people, from youngsters taking their first piano lessons to adults learning for the first time, to experienced musicians who want to improve their craft! I went to a prestigious private university and graduated with a degree in Musical Performance and Composition.
