Kim is a freelance musician, teacher, performer and entrepreneur. Her primary focus is playing flute, saxophone and clarinet, and loves to sing and write music! Kim is a successful performer and has been on TV Shows such as "Scandel", Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! playing with Moon Taxi. Kim has performed with Camilla Cabello on 2018 American Music Awards. She has also played with musicians such as Vanessa Williams, Tony Danza, Wayne Brady, Gordon Goodwin at the Big Phat Band, Scott Whitfield, Sal Lozano, Jay Mason, and many more. Kim has also been a performer at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. Kim is very adept at teaching all levels of music, from beginning, intermediate to advanced levels. If you are a highly motivated individual and eager to learn new skills, and willing to practice weekly and prepare for your lessons, you are a great candidate for this studio. Practice is expected and required. You tell me what you would like to work on and study and we will focus on anything you'd like. Here's some examples of some of the things we are are able to go over: basics of learning your instrument, finger technique, embouchure, reed care, sight reading, music theory, songwriting, college prep, and so much more!
