I focus on differentiation. This means that I teach the student the way YOU need to be taught. This way, the student can learn as efficiently as possible. We will learn basic theory, vocal fundamentals, work songs at your level, as well as some fun songs of the students' choosing.

Hi! My goal for students us to help them learn as much as possible, as efficiently as possible, with as much FUN as possible. If my initial way of teaching doesn't work for you, I'll work work work until I find a method your comfortable with.

I have a lot of experience in music education and performance. My specialties are Voice, Trumpet, Piano and French Horn. I love classical music, jazz, gospel, pop, classic rock, musical theater and just about everything in between. And I'll work with you on whatever you'd like!

All of my students to learn basic music theory as well as the instrument they are working on. This is a very important building block that will make all the difference.

Ms. Killion was my daughter’s piano teacher for a little around a year.  My daughter is very shy and reserved around people that she doesn’t know.  Ms. Killion was able to help her come out of her shell and gain confidence in playing the piano.  She was very flexible with her schedule and took the time to give my daughter constructive feedback.  We truly miss having Ms. Killion as our instructor!

I was Killion's manager for several years at her previous teaching location in St. Charles, MO. It left a devastating hole in my student count when she left, as she brought in more business than any of my other teachers! She is a fantastic educator who takes on a range of students in terms of age, ability, and instrumentation. Children respond especially well to her methods, but she is also able to garner significant results from adults. Her lessons are flexible, fitting the needs of various learning styles. What I appreciated most about her technique was her patience and her emotional investment in her students. When she left my program, her students brought her gifts and handmade cards that were a true testament to her level of compassion and the excitement she inspires!
