Music Performance with Khanh-Vi N.

Khanh-Vi N. as a young child, sought music and arts as a way of expression, relaxation, and how she spent most of her free time - whether it was playing the piano; listening to classics from Beethoven to the Carpenters, or contemporary/pop. During her studies in Music Education at Virginia Commonwealth University, she has expanded her horizons to jazz music, and found another love in music in Nina Simone. Khanh-Vi N. believes that all music is beautiful, and as Les Baxter says, "Any good music must be an innovation." Khanh-Vi's approach to teaching is to be open to endless possibilities from her students. Every person has different levels of skill, ability, and emotions, thus there should never be a benchmark in learning for music education. She is Classically trained; has studied and teaches Suzuki Method, as well. Khanh-Vi loves to introduce and make impressions on her students with great works of Classical composers, but she strongly supports other musical directions.
