My name is Kevina, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and you can find me at @KLUVATL. I am in love with the Creative Arts, enthusiastic about introducing it to others, and based in metro Atlanta (South). I currently am a Fellow For Justice Business Administration student at Strayer University and a Teaching Artist of Flute and Basic Music Theory for 501(3) non-profit Henry for Music's Youth Orchestra United program. I am active as a local, national and international volunteer and annually complete background checks with non-profit organizations, including Henry For Music, Inc. and USA Boxing, Inc. Arts speaks through me, so I engage in local community activities as an artist of music, booking, media/content creation, communications, playing vocal/flute gigs from time to time, musical theater with The Front Porch Players, and am a former member of Henry Community Chorus and Baroque Recorder Teaching Artist. My journey into dance, art, writing, vocalizing, and harmonizing began as a very young child, and playing the Baroque Flute Recorder in 6th grade under the direction of Mr. Ed Davis. Over the next two years, I started learning Astrology, photo/video production, and graphic design and achieved Honors and Advanced Band on my transverse closed-hole Gemeinhardt Flute. I homeschooled for the rest of my music career but have since enjoyed playing and tutoring and have embarked upon several "100 Days of Practice" Challenges, most recently with an open-holed Gemeinhardt Flute. I eagerly await whichever creative quests are in the wings to embark upon next!
