    Hi, I've been teaching lessons piano lessons since 1984 and have had good success teaching kids and adults of all ages. I teach a solid classical foundation, but always supplement lessons with music you want to learn...whether it be pop, show tunes, hymns & hymn improvisation, etc. I performed in my first professional engagement when I was 11 and have been pianist for Classical concerts & recitals, Church services, revivals, weddings, funerals, corporate events and every gig you'd ever hire a pianist for. I love teaching and would love to help customize a program of study for you and equip you with the skills you need for music-making!

    Kevin taught me piano for four years. In that time, I learned he both holds his students to high standards of excellence while also making lessons fun. His amazing talent coupled with his great sense of humor and love for people made for an enjoyable experience. However, his students gain more than a pleasant experience and basic skills. Learning notes and rhythm is half the job, the other half is making it musical. Kevin excels in imparting this to his students and is a joy to know. He's the best!

    Kevin Pollock is a very dynamic teacher and performer! He loves people and has a delightful personality that makes working with him a joy! It is impressive to hear one of his young elementary school students play a Bach Invention with ease. His passion for music is contagious! His work ethic and standards for excellence are top shelf. I highly recommend him as a teacher for any age student of the piano.

    I highly recommend Kevin as a piano teacher. I studied piano for years and wanted my children to be grounded in good fundamentals. Kevin excels at teaching good technique, theory, and practice habits. He assigns music that supports a students level but also challenges them to master pieces that are difficult for them through slow and repetitive practice. He does all that while making it fun. My children love the piano and that’s entirely because of Kevin. He’s the best!
