I stress musicality, feel, groove, rudiments, and regimented practices to become a well-rounded player, so expect in-depth lessons!

I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Instrumental Performance with a Percussion Concentration, and a minor in Mathematics from Columbia College Chicago.

I have been studying music, both classical and contemporary, for 20 years. My main focus is drums (kit and auxiliary percussion), and have also had extensive experience with guitar (classical nylon & electric), voice/ear training, and piano.

Kevin is an amazing musician and instructor. I have two boys and they absolutely love their lessons with him. He's clear on his instruction and what he wants my kids to practice on. With Kevin, I know my kids are getting a quality lesson. He really knows his stuff and I recommend him for both beginner and advanced students.
