I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Instrumental Performance with a Percussion Concentration, and a minor in Mathematics from Columbia College Chicago.
I have been studying music, both classical and contemporary, for 15 years. My main focus is drums (kit and auxiliary percussion), and have also had extensive experience with guitar, voice/ear training, and piano.
Throughout my academic career, I also pursued mathematics on the side. Calculus 1-3, discrete math, high school math, and physics are all very familiar subjects, and I love to teach them as well!
Currently, I am working for an accounting firm on the client services side. With a steady 9-5 job, leaving much time to teach outside of work hours, and on weekends!
I love to inspire and lead! Teaching a large sales team was the greatest joy of this job, and I apply that mentality to music as well.

With Kevin, I know my kids are getting a quality lesson. He really knows his stuff and I recommend him for both beginner and advanced students.+ Read More
