My passion is music and I've known since a very young age that I wanted to be a professional musician and music teacher. I trained at Berklee College of Music in Boston & Neupauer Conservatory in Philadelphia, and obtained a BA in Music Education, with a concentration in classical and jazz guitar, from Shepherd University in West Virginia. I currently teach out of a studio in PA and play in two working bands. I am excited about teaching via the internet and look forward to sharing my love of music with my students. *** Lesson Details *** I teach guitar, bass, mandolin & banjo. I teach my students to read music and give them a firm foundation in chord structure and music theory that will enable them to play diverse styles of music. Once a student becomes competent with these basics, we can concentrate on the style of music that most appeals to the student, to include any particular songs the student would like to learn.
