Hello, My Name is Kendria Alexander. I am honored to be able to be part of Texas A &M University educations program. I obtained a huge interest when we went through some struggles with one of our children and the education system. I want to be able to give back to society and generations to come as some of the people on our path helped and guided us. I want to teach merely to make a difference. If I can dive into the education field where I can be a part of a community that will help when needed, I want it! To see the light bulb moment when a student gets it is a feeling that is not replaceable. I want to teach because I think this field is one that is rewarding and awe-inspiring. I believe learning is a life long adventure with some pretty grand people you assist along the way. The personal experiences I have are the paths we took with one of our children. I have a child with a learning disability and the road we have taken has had some amazing people along the way. I have learned and want to share that you can go after your dreams and reach them! That nothing is impossible if you try and never give up.
