Hello and thanks for visiting my webpage on Take Lessons. My name is Kendra, and I have been performing and teaching professionally for over 30 years. I received my performance training at Colorado University in Boulder and Brandon University in Manitoba, Canada. My career as a teacher, recording artist, and performer in classical, jazz, blues, traditional and contemporary worship, folk, American/Irish fiddle, pop, and latin music has enabled me to tailor my students learning experience. I look forward to helping you learn to play, improve, enrich your life, and meet your musical goals.

Kendra is fantastic! She is enthusiastic, challenging, & kind. She is flexible with practice times given my son’s busy schedule. She is consistent & on time! I cannot say enough about how much we value Kendra’s support! My son has been taking in-home viola lessons with her for the past couple of years and has made steady progress. He looks forward to his lessons, even during the summer months! He is part of Asheville Symphony Youth Orchestra & made the leap from chamber group to concert orchestra this past year. Good stuff! Thanks Kendra! 😁

Kendra is an immensely talented instructor and musician. She is patient, encouraging, knowledgeable, and my children enjoy their lessons. They have grown as musicians under Kendra's care, guidance, and the occasional push to challenge themselves. I highly recommend Kendra if you are considering lessons for yourself or your children.

I am the director of the orchestra at First Baptist in Hendersonville. Even though I don’t study the violin or viola with Kendra, I am well aware of her abilities that not only make her a tremendous violinist/violist, but also would make her an outstanding teacher. First off she is an excellent musician. She is kind, considerate and encouraging to anyone who knows her. In my opinion these are characteristics that all outstanding teachers have. I have worked with Kendra on many occasions and it is a joy to work with her. If you are looking for lessons then I can’t think of anyone better to learn from than Kendra Rempel.
