My name is Kelsie. My passion is cooking and I would love to help you learn how! I originally attended Palomar College to pursue a degree in Child Development in 1992 and taught at a private preschool during that same time. After starting my family I wanted to focus on them, so I spent some time catering hoping to bring the two together. My career took a break while I raised my family, and now I teach cooking classes to all ages. I love to see my students creating tasty, aesthetic dishes. I am a very easy going person so my teaching style is laid back. I think we create the best when we are happy and having fun. There are never mistakes, only learning experiences! I teach Cooking, Baking, Allergy free, and Get Fit classes. I think its important to eat well and have it taste delicious using whole foods, made from scratch! It's so enjoyable to help create a fun, positive food experience for others. I have classes for children and adults. If you want to learn how to cook or have a meal cooked for a special occasion I would love to help you. I look forward to seeing you in class!+ Read More
What a blessing to find a person that made cooking fun and educational. A person that illustrated the skill of cooking with such poise. That persons name is Kelsie. Before My first cooking class at Kelsie's kitchen my youngest daughter asked if she could come along with my granddaughter. When we three told my mother about how much fun we had cooking she insisted on coming to Kelsie's the next time. Four generations making meals together is a day to remember. Great class Kelsie!+ Read More
I haven't seen my son this excited in a long time. He said that he learned a lot already and that Kelsie was very patient with him. He loved the cooking lesson and is looking forward to many more.
