I am an experienced, patient teacher and classical pianist. I earned my Master of Music degree as a piano performance major at Combs’ College of Music in Philadelphia where I was awarded with a teaching fellowship and a scholarship. Upon graduating, I devoted many years to teaching piano and music education classes at various schools and colleges in the Northeast.
In 1999 I founded Walsh Piano Studio in Jupiter, Florida where I have taught private piano lessons for eighteen years. Aside from teaching and managing my studio, I wrote and was granted two United States patents for a music reading method I created. I specialize in the music education of intermediate and advanced adults and young adults.
Be best pianist you can be. I offer private lessons personalized just for you to address your specific challenges. Do you see yourself in any of these scenarios? Perhaps you play pretty well but just can’t seem to advance any further; you practice regularly but your pieces don’t seem to improve. Or perhaps you already play well, but want to strengthen your skills. I can show you how to phrase music for beautiful, lyrical playing and help you to acquire good piano technique to play difficult music with ease. Master precise control of your technique for artistic phrasing, thunderous fortissimos and exquisite pianissimos. Learn how to practice effectively. Discover methods that will help you make the most progress during your practice time.
I am an active member of the Music Teachers National Association and the Florida State Music Teachers Association. I am the author of a music reading textbook that is currently featured on Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com. It was awarded with a Readers' Favorite medal for receiving their 5-star editorial review.
I established Walsh Piano Studio in 1999 in South Florida.

Kelly is an outstanding piano instructor. She is very patient. Many outstanding pianists are unable to convey what they know. But Kelly is able to convey what she knows and do so in a way that the student can follow. My piano playing has improved a great deal while working with Kelly. I strongly recommend taking piano lessons with Kelly.+ Read More
