I am a 300 hour registered yoga teacher as well as a certified life force yoga practitioner and licensed psychotherapist. I have a been practicing yoga, meditation, and breath work for about 10 years and have had a daily practice in these areas for the last 5 years. I am a firm believer in not only the physical benefits of yoga, but also the emotional and mental healing benefits.
Whether you have never taken yoga before or an advanced student - know that I teach to all levels and meet my students where they are at and where they wish to go. For beginners I offer a specialized program that allows you to practice on your own between classes that I teach you and add on to the following week. Since I teach a range of styles of yoga, when I prepare a class for my student(s) it is done so with you in mind. The styles of asana (physical) practice I teach range from hatha, vinyasa flow, ashtanga, and my absolute favorite - yin/restorative. For those students that are interested in the meditative side of yoga, I also offer a variety of meditations, yoga nidras (total body relaxation/release), and breathing techniques all designed to de-stress, calm the mind, and be a peace.
