Opera Voice with Kelly D.

I am a professional singer with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from UNC School of the Arts. I hold a significant amount of performance experience with professional opera companies like Tulsa Opera and Piedmont Opera, as well as a number of solo recital and oratorio performances. Voice students can expect to work intimately with me on finding their core sound and building a strong vocal foundation. Each lesson will begin with in-depth vocal exercises designed to build range and tone quality, and then move into appropriate voice repertoire for their age and experience. We will work to find ease and evenness throughout the entire voice, replacing tension with intention! Clear communication and consistent work will help you release the voice you were born to flaunt! Although my background is primarily in opera and classical voice, I have a significant amount of experience with musical theater. I believe all performers, regardless of genre, must be classically trained to have a lifelong happy and healthy relationship with their voice. I look forward to working with you!
