She has been teaching the art of Bellydance for more than 13 years and has mentored several other now-professional dancers. Celestina is a professional bellydancer with over 10 years of teaching experience. Celestina specializes in Classic American Cabaret, Turkish, and Egyptian style bellydance and has studied with top instructors such as Delilah Flynn, Ahmed Hussein, Veena Bidasha of the BellyTwins, Zoe Jakes, Eva Cernik, Mardi Love, Sonia, Jillina, Lebanese Simon and more!

I have taken classes with Celestina for close to two years.  After every single class, I leave feeling amazing about myself.  You feel her passion and enthusiasm for the dance thru her music selection and combination arrangements.

Celestina’s classes are organized and fun.  Not only is she a beautiful belly dancer, she is excellent teacher as well.  She covers the rhythms of Arabic music and the steps that go with them.   Celestina’s talent is choreography. She teaches choreographic segments that challenge the body and the brain. She has this incredible ability to break them down both verbally and visually.

As a beginner, you will move muscles you have never moved before; moving your core and hips in ways they never move in our western society. Aspiring to perform? Celestina’s attention to detail, not just technique; but nuances, expressions, posture will move you closer to your goal.  

I have belly danced professionally, for fun and for myself for many years.  It has done wonders for my confidence, femininity and life.
