Hello future flutists! I'm a dedicated flute teacher, performer, and composer originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. It's my strong belief that music education improves all areas of students' lives. Everyone has musical potential and it's my job to unlock your unique sense of creativity. Weekly lessons with me include learning flute fundamentals, music notation, targeted technique exercises, solo pieces, and music theory.
When I'm not teaching, I'm pursuing a doctorate in flute performance and composition at the University of Georgia. I hold a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from the Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from California State University Long Beach where I graduated summa cum laude.

Kelly is a very friendly, skillful and patient teacher. I was very nervous to take my first flute lesson as an adult. However Kelly being a professional, she eased any nervousness that I had and gave me the confidence that I needed. I have learned so much and I cannot recommend her enough! I love playing the flute thanks to Kelly. She is the best!

Kelly is not only a fantastic teacher but is also an exceptionally talented flutist. She whole-heartedly is passionate about excelling in her own life which translates to high expectations for her students while maintaining a light-hearted learning environment, mirrored by her optimistic personality. She understands the inner mechanisms of teaching flute to people of any ages due to her excellent education and her extreme intelligence.
